An EZ Determination is used to verify the elevation of your property to help determine which flood zone your property is located in. The flood zone is used to rate properties for flood insurance. A Letter of Map Amendment or LOMA is a form sent to FEMA in an attempt to reclassify an area as being outside a high-risk flood zone.
